Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a busy acute care environment, supporting critical care units, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver safe and effective treatment. The role requires flexibility to work night shifts and may include rotation to day shifts when needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy, active MA Respiratory Therapist License, RRT certification, at least 2 years of experience working in one location, and 1 to 2 years of experience as a traveler. Must have ventilator experience in an acute care setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience drawing arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Certifications Required: RRT.
• Additional Information: The role involves working with equipment such as PB980 Ventilators and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilators. The team is staffed with 5 Respiratory Therapists during the day, 5 in the evening, and 4 at night, with responsibilities in critical care units including micro units and med/surg floors. The electronic health record system in use is EPIC. Submission requires a professional resume, references, skills checklist, and candidate submission coversheet.
