Job Summary
Pediatric Physical Therapist (Physical Therapist Pediatrics) located in an acute care hospital. This role involves providing therapy services to pediatric patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on evaluation, treatment plans, and patient education. The assignment offers flexible scheduling options within a 13 to 26-week duration, starting as soon as possible.
Job Details
- Position Description: Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist assignment with a duration of 13 or 26 weeks.
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, Alaska Physical Therapist license, at least 1 year of experience working with pediatric and inpatient populations, and proficiency in charting systems such as Epic.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute care, adaptive equipment, evaluation and gait training, and comfort working with pediatric populations including children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries.
- Schedule: 10-hour days, minimum 40 hours per week, starting from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027.
- Additional Information: Willingness to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year); candidates must have a license in hand prior to starting, or be pending license approval. No float requirement specified; candidates will work within scope to meet hospital needs and may be required to work some weekends.
