Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist inpatient (OT IP) position available in Springfield, MO. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation services to patients recovering from neuro, orthopedic, debility, cardiac, and other conditions. The position requires a focus on teamwork, communication, and responsible clinical care, with an emphasis on improving functional ability and quality of life in a dedicated rehabilitation hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Springfield, MO
• Schedule: Days shift, 9 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid occupational therapist certification; minimum of 2 years' relevant inpatient or skilled nursing facility experience; ability to work with geriatric, adult, and adolescent (no younger than 13) patient populations
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, ortho, debility, and cardiac cases preferred
• Additional Information: This role involves working with a patient ratio of approximately 7 to 1 in a facility equipped with EKSO, InMotion Upper Extremity Robotic, and Body Weight Support systems. The unit serves a mixed patient population in a 60-bed facility, with notable features like high-tech therapy devices, pet therapy, outdoor healing garden, and specialized stroke and brain injury units. The team emphasizes exceptional patient care with a clinical focus on improving functionality and independence.
