Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) position available in an acute care setting. The role involves providing specialized speech language therapy services to patients with diagnoses such as orthopedics, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-operative cases, and cardiac conditions. The position requires the ability to work independently, perform Modified Barium Swallow tests, and FEES assessments.

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Georgia; BLS certification; ability to treat a broad range of diagnoses and perform FEEs assessments; minimum 1-year relevant experience preferred; licensed in the state of Georgia
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient settings and demonstrated independence in clinical responsibilities
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Department includes over 20 team members, with department-specific equipment such as FEES fiberoptic evaluation of swallowing; orientation period of 3-5 days based on experience; no holiday or on-call expectations; shifts scheduled for 13-week cycles; scrub color is light grey; parking is free.
