Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered Pediatric Specialty Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients in a specialized healthcare setting. The role requires delivering advanced respiratory care, including ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide, and heliox therapies, across multiple units including Pediatric Intensive Care and Neonatal Intensive Care. The position supports flexible scheduling, including night shifts and holiday coverage.

Job Details

Position Description: Respiratory Therapist Registered working in a pediatric healthcare environment. Responsibilities include ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide, heliox, and specialized equipment such as Vapotherm, Optiflow, Oscillator, and IPV. Must perform continuous alb, intermitten MDI, and other nebulized medications.
Certifications, Education, Experience, and Location Requirements: Active Georgia license required at time of submission. 2+ years of pediatric and ICU experience required with ventilator management expertise. BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are mandatory; NRP preferred. Must be registered and have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Schedule: 12-hour Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Every other weekend required, with flexible scheduling to meet departmental needs. Must float to additional units as needed and work at least one winter holiday.
Additional Information: The candidate must be nicotine-free and pass drug screening testing. The facility requires flu vaccination with no exemptions accepted. NICOTINE FREE FACILITY must be tested along with drug screen.
