Job Details

  • Position Description: Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Perform treatment simulations, fabricate all necessary shielding blocks, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Prepares equipment for patient treatments, performs quality control and assurance tests, ensures proper infection control techniques, and adheres to radiation safety and protection practices.
  • Required Qualifications: 2+ years of radiation therapy experience, ARRT (T) certification, BLS (AHA) certification. Valid certifications and experience with Varian and ARIA systems are needed.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The organization maintains a strict attendance policy effective from 6/1/2024. The policy prohibits absences or being more than 20 minutes late three times, leading to immediate termination unless supported by documented medical or communicable disease reasons. The role commences on 11/16/2026 and ends on 02/15/2027. Submission requirements include verification of 2+ years of radiation therapist experience, documentation of ARRT (T) certification, and proof of BLS (AHA) certification. Experience with TrueBeam, ARIA, or Trilogy systems is preferred.
