Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General position located in a healthcare setting. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations under the supervision of a physician, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The ultrasonographer will maintain competency across various technical functions, assist in educating patients, and collaborate with a team to support diagnostic processes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED. - Ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment and supplies. - Ability to verbally communicate and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. - Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. - Ability to use computers and perform typing for documentation and accessing information. - Ability to lift, bend, and carry supplies and equipment, including heavy items. - Ability to walk and assist with transporting or ambulating patients. - Ability to push and pull equipment such as gurneys and portable devices. - Ability to navigate crowded and busy environments. - Ability to stand for extended periods of time. - 0 years of experience required. - Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Breast Specialty (ARDMS).
