Description
Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist position located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves supporting the electrophysiology laboratory during day shifts, primarily focusing on procedures such as ablations, pacemaker (PPM), cardiac defibrillator (ICD), and left atrial appendage closure (LAAC). The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic unit with experienced staff and modern equipment, contributing to patient care and procedural success.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Technician (CVT) or Registered Nurse (RN), with valid Certification in Electrophysiology (RCES). No minimum experience requirement.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scrubbing and mapping during electrophysiology procedures.
- Additional Information: The unit has 2 labs with 15 staff members, performing 5-9 cases daily. The team uses Philips Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and EPICT systems. The department expects a flexible, team-oriented, and hardworking personality. scrub attire is navy-colored, and unit policies are available upon request.
