Job Summary:
Mammographer position located in Pittsfield. This role requires proficiency in both X-ray and mammography procedures, with a focus on independent technical activities to facilitate accurate diagnosis. The mammographer will adhere to departmental policies, maintain patient confidentiality, operate PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems, and demonstrate ability to troubleshoot imaging applications. The assignment involves providing excellent patient care and completing mandatory education to ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of X-ray experience, one year current experience in mammography, ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification, ARRT (Mammography) certification, Massachusetts radiology license or application thereof, current Massachusetts BLS certification, experience with Meditech Expanse.
• Preferred Qualifications: High proficiency in both mammography and X-ray procedures, willingness to work weekends and evenings, own vehicle for travel.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must be willing to work during major holidays if scheduled.
  • RTO requests must be included at the time of submission; requests after offer may be rescinded.
  • No 10 or 12-hour shift requests will be considered; the role is 8-hour days.
