Job Summary
A professional in Ultrasonographer General is sought for a position within a healthcare provider. This role involves performing high-quality adult echocardiography studies, including specialized TAVR TTE imaging for treating patients with severe to critical aortic stenosis. The technologist will focus on patient comfort, explain procedures clearly, and ensure thorough imaging accuracy in a prominent cardiac center.

Job Details

• Certifications: Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 200 inpatient echocardiography cases documented by institutional referral.
• Responsibilities: Prepare patients for examinations, ensure images are complete and of high quality according to ASE & IAC Guidelines, review prior reports and patient charts, notify medical staff of critical findings, maintain accurate records, and manage supplies inventory.
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Required Skills & Experience: Proficiency in adult echocardiography, especially TAVR TTE scanning of severe to critical aortic stenosis patients; independent working ability; familiarity with spectral Doppler, Pedoff, contrast echocardiography, and agitated saline studies.
• Preferred Skills & Experience: TEE and Stress Echo experience, 3D echo imaging, familiarity with Philips systems, Epic hospital information system, and advanced valve interventions including Mitral Clip and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy protocols.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have actively scanned severe to critical aortic stenosis patients indicated for TAVR procedures; this must be clearly detailed on the submission cover sheet.
