Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Springfield, MO. This role involves providing outpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The position emphasizes clinical excellence in a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation setting with a focus on improving patient functional ability and quality of life.

Job Details

Position Description: Must have inpatient rehabilitation, and/or acute experience. Immediately start date available.
Shift: Nights, 9 hours, with minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapy (OT) license, experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care, at least 2 years of relevant experience, MO state licensure, and education in Occupational Therapy.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, ortho, debility, or cardiac diagnoses; strong teamwork, communication, work ethic, and responsibility.
Additional Notes: No float requirements noted. Candidate will work with geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations (no younger than 13).
Position Responsibilities: Provide patient care in a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, utilizing specialized equipment such as high-tech therapy devices and robotic assistive technology. Coordinate with a dedicated team to deliver effective therapy sessions tailored to patient needs.
Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must report at 7:30 a.m. and ask for Allyson Beary upon arrival.
