Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Outpatient setting. This position involves evaluating patients, establishing treatment goals, and providing therapeutic procedures to aid in restoring function and preventing disability. The role requires effective communication with medical staff and direct patient care to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Conducts assessments of new patients, sets measurable treatment goals, develops and implements treatment plans, and documents patient progress. Administers diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests to determine impairments and prognosis.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Evaluates patient progress and adjusts treatment plans accordingly. Provides patient and family education on therapeutic procedures. Participates in departmental meetings, maintains statistical records, and contributes to professional growth through ongoing education. Provides guidance to support staff and assists in training new personnel.
