Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing specialized cardiopulmonary services in a healthcare setting, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care. The position requires a focus on critical care procedures, assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive interventions, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for following protocols approved by medical staff and departmental policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, arterial line insertion, intubations, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: NM RRT/CRT licensure, NBRC Registry certification, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP with at least 2 years of critical care and prior travel experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts (Thursday, Friday, Saturday), 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

• End Date: 01/09/2027
• Additional Information: All travel submissions must have at least 2 years of experience along with prior travel experience. No local candidates will be considered. The Respiratory Therapist is either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide cardiopulmonary services. This facility operates as a Pay When Paid (PWP) facility, meaning compensation is contingent upon facility payment.
