Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Ultrasonographer specialized in Echo (Ultrasonographer Echo) to work in the diagnostic imaging department. This role involves performing advanced cardiac and peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures, including transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, to assist physicians in diagnosing and guiding complex procedures such as TAVR, SAVR, and other cardiovascular interventions.

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, ability to work independently, BLS certification, and either a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

• Additional Information: Demonstrates correct technique, efficiency, and judgment in advanced cardiac and peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures. Performs adult and pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures including TEE and stress echo. Reviews pertinent patient data, operates necessary equipment, and maintains accurate documentation of all procedures. Assists physicians during complex cardiovascular procedures, supports departmental quality assurance activities, and maintains current competency and registry in the specialty. Works effectively with healthcare team members, promotes patient safety, and practices infection control.
