Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine in a high-paced radiology department. This role involves performing a variety of imaging studies, including cardiac, HIDA, gastric emptying, and thyroid scans, using GE and Siemens equipment. The position is based in an acute care setting and requires clinical expertise in nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.

Job Details

Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist, NUC
Location: 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027 (Start and End Dates)
Schedule: 4x10 Hour Days Monday-Thursday with weekend and holiday call requirements
Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification, minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-paced nuclear medicine department, experience with GE and Siemens equipment, and the ability to start IVs.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cardiac, HIDA, Gastric Empty, Parathyroid, Thyroid, and Thyroid Therapy scans, and familiarity with electronic medical records and PACS systems such as EPIC and Synapse.
Additional Information:
- Department performs an average of 6-10 scans/studies per day.
- Department has 4 scanners/rooms and radiologists available in-house.
- Radiology department does not use RRAs.
- Department requires cancellation policy adherence, with hospital canceling up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
- Shift notes specify 4x10 hour days with weekend and holiday call, requiring the clinician to be in state for orientation during the week.
- Must have the ability to start IVs and perform the full scope of nuclear medicine procedures.
