Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location: not specified. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services in an Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, and inpatient wards. The role requires delivering adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care, including ABGs, EKGs, ventilator management, and general respiratory therapist duties.

Job Details:

• Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
• Location: Not specified
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, including weekends and holidays
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and verification as a Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT); applicable for adult critical care with confidence in the area; licensure to submit; minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in ER, ICU, or CVICU settings; ability to work independently in all areas; competence with Vent management, BiPAP, CPAP, ABGs, EKGs
• Additional Information:
  • Responsibilities include performing ABGs, EKGs, ventilator management, BiPAP, and CPAP support, as well as general respiratory therapist duties
  • Working at both West Campus (adults) and East Campus (all ages) with possible floating between sites
  • No solo shifts; working with a team of respiratory professionals
  • No requirement for intubation skills requiring independent intubation
  • No in-house intensivist or hospitalist presence indicated
  • Uniform: Black no-logo scrubs
