Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings. The ideal candidate will support adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients with various respiratory needs, including neonatal Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (Cpap) and ventilator management, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Shift Details: Rotating shifts with night coverage, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 through 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Minimum of 2 years of experience, with license submission not required.
• Clinical Experience: Neonatal bubble Cpap and ventilator management, drawing arterial blood gases (ABGs), performing electrocardiograms (EKGs).
• Operational Details: Night shift coverage with the only respiratory therapist on site, on-call approximately 4 days per month with a 1-hour response time. No floating required outside the respiratory therapy department.
• Additional Information: Preceptors available for department-specific orientation. Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter durations.
