Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) - Hawaii. This position involves providing respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients within a healthcare facility. The role requires managing ventilators and non-invasive support, consulting with physicians, and ensuring optimal airway management throughout the shift.
Job Details
- Shift: Day Shift (06:30 AM 07:00 PM), three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours).
- Required Qualifications: Valid Hawaii license or application submitted, minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS with NRP preferred, and State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license.
- Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend employee health appointments. No first assignments are accepted.
- Responsibilities include providing continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support, and physician consultation.
- Equipment utilized includes computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent.
