Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray and advanced imaging modalities in a healthcare setting. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, assisting physicians with fluoroscopic procedures, and ensuring patient care and safety during imaging examinations. The position requires a skilled professional capable of adapting to a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

Position Description: Performs specialized diagnostic procedures including X-ray, Angiography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Computed Tomography (CT) in various anatomical areas. Assists physicians with fluoroscopic procedures, transports and cares for patients, and prepares patients for exams.
Required Qualifications: Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the American Medical Association (AMA) and/or Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT); CRT, ARRT certifications, Fluoroscopy license, and CT certification (ARRT) required; current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards; valid California Drivers License; at least one year of experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist; preferred experience includes one year in CT, MRI, or Angiography/Special Procedures.
Schedule: Rotating shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week with some call and weekends, starting at 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include starting intravenous lines, administering contrast media, monitoring patients during procedures, and operating imaging equipment such as power injectors and fluoroscopy systems. Must maintain competency through continuing education and adhere to departmental protocols.
