Job Summary
X-ray Technologist in the region is responsible for independently performing routine and complex X-ray exams and assisting with fluoroscopy procedures in a level II trauma acute care environment. This role involves traversing between units and providing high-quality patient care with strong communication skills.
Job Details
- Position Title: X-ray Technologist
- Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license in hand, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) credential, minimum of 1 year of experience working in adult and pediatric outpatient and acute care settings, experience with PACS, C-Arm procedures, and various radiologic exams including trauma lower extremity, cervical spine, pelvis, and neonatal procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level II Trauma Center, familiarity with electronic charting systems, and previous float experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must work independently, assist with fluoroscopy procedures, and demonstrate strong patient care and communication skills. Flexibility to float between units is required.
