Job Details

• Position Description: Outpatient Physical Therapist responsible for patient evaluations, creating and modifying treatment plans, and overseeing therapy services. Ensures functional programs facilitate effective return to community activities. Acts as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues. Maintains compliance with organizational standards and safety protocols.
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; active/applicable state license for the work location; no prior experience required; scheduled for days, 8-hour shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of previous assignments with the agency or organization is highly desired; familiarity with organizational performance improvement initiatives and continuing education involvement is a plus.
• Additional Information: The position emphasizes clinical reasoning, accurate documentation, participation in student supervision, and adherence to state practice acts and licensing requirements. The role includes developing a professional growth plan and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
