Job Summary
Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer en-US, performing detailed ultrasound imaging at a healthcare facility. This role involves conducting between 7-9 ultrasounds daily, including fetal echo procedures, while supporting high-risk maternal and fetal cases. The position offers potential for permanent employment and is suitable for experienced sonographers seeking a temporary assignment with the possibility of longer-term opportunities.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications and Education: ARDMS certification in OB/GYN, fetal echo experience, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.
- Responsibilities include performing detailed ultrasounds, assisting with amniocentesis, CVS, PUBS procedures, and reporting findings to physicians.
- Sonographers must be familiar with detailed ultrasound imaging techniques, particularly in high-risk maternal-fetal cases.
- Experience with fetal anatomical surveys, multiple pregnancies, and intrauterine procedures is preferred.
- Candidate must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs and adhere to schedule and holiday work requirements.
- The position requires current license approval; a compact license must be in hand at submission.
- Candidates must include responses to initial screening questions, specific interview availability, and references covering the past three years.
