Job Summary
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) located in the area is sought to join a busy cardiovascular and interventional radiology program. This position involves supporting both diagnostic and interventional procedures with an emphasis on patient safety, technical proficiency, and teamwork. The role includes participation in various cath lab and interventional radiology procedures requiring scrub, circulate, and monitor skills.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call duty required for 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist or equivalent, completion of a related healthcare education program, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and 0 years of experience required
• Responsibilities:
  • Support both diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiovascular and interventional radiology programs
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields and operate imaging and ancillary equipment
  • Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting
  • Respond promptly to emergent cases while on call
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Provide high-quality patient care throughout all procedure phases
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, or related fields is preferred
• Additional Information: The role supports a variety of procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and embolizations. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining safety standards, and participating in team-based patient care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
