Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric - Location unspecified. This position provides respiratory care, pulmonary, and cardiology diagnostic testing to pediatric patients across various health care settings. Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate or technical degree; proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); current license as required by the state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; knowledge of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment; 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience.
• Responsibilities: Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care prescribed by physicians or licensed independent practitioners; applies and manages mechanical ventilators; assembles, disassembles, and maintains respiratory therapy equipment; performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing; conducts patient assessments and evaluates responses to care, making recommendations; documents therapy provided; communicates with resource staff to formulate care plans; may supervise department staff; provides respiratory care across different health care settings; ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
