Job Summary
A Registered Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technologist is needed in Portland to join a busy neurodiagnostic team supporting both inpatient and outpatient EEG services. The role involves performing routine, urgent, and continuous monitoring studies, including adult and pediatric patients, in a fast-paced, academic medical center environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current R.EEGT. credential from ABRET; minimum of 1 year of independent EEG experience in a hospital or acute-care setting; ICU/continuous monitoring experience preferred.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40-hour guarantee, various shifts, 8 hours per shift, with weekly guaranteed hours of 40.
• Responsibilities include performing high-quality EEG studies following established standards, supporting long-term and continuous monitoring, ensuring accurate electrode application, recognizing significant EEG patterns, collaborating with neurologists, and providing compassionate patient care across diverse populations.
• Support learning activities within the EEG training program as needed.
• The position may require working with all age groups and troubleshooting technical issues independently.
• No specific preferred qualifications listed, but experience with pediatric EEG and familiarity with rapid pace environments are advantageous.
