Job Details

• Required Qualifications: High School graduate and registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; 0 years of experience; location in accordance with scheduling needs.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, Tuesday through Friday 11am - 7pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, with 7.5 hours per shift and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, verifying patient identity and medical history, and confirming that the examination aligns with patient presentation.
• Operates, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and proper functioning.
• Explains procedures to patients, answers questions, and responds to immediate medical needs during procedures.
• Records diagnostic images and data for physician review and archiving while ensuring equipment cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assists in training new ultrasound personnel and maintains supplies for optimal operation.
• Performs other related duties as required.
