Job Summary
EEG Technologist (Registered) Located in the Pacific Northwest region, this position involves providing electroencephalogram (EEG) testing across multiple units within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires working a weekday schedule from Wednesday to Saturday, with potential to float between units, and participating in rotating weekend and weekday call.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Education Requirements: Certification as an EEG Technologist (ABRET Certification preferred but not required).
- Degree Requirements: Not specified.
- Location Requirements: Valid licensure with a compact license must be in hand at submission.
- Years of Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an EEG Technologist required.
- Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as an EEG Technologist (ABRET CERT PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED), BLS certification, valid licensure, and at least 1 year of experience.
- Additional responsibilities include checking, operating, and calibrating electromyographic equipment, with a focus on adult inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory EEG, long-term monitoring/video monitoring, sleep EEG, and related procedures.
- Travel Experience Required: No.
- Required to work approximately 1 weekend every 6 to 8 weeks and to be available for rotating call shifts.
- The candidate must include a response to whether they have previously worked at a Providence facility, along with location and dates worked, and provide two references covering a span of one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years.
