Job Details

• Position Description:
  The Xray Technologist will perform radiologic procedures under the supervision of the radiologist, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes in an acute care environment.

• Required Qualifications:
  Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT); Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training; 2 years minimum experience in an acute care setting; Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire; Valid radiologic technologist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; BLS certification; Strong communication and customer service skills; Proficiency with PACS and HIS/RIS systems; Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Ability to maintain confidential information.

• Schedule:
  Rotating shift schedule, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including variable weekends and holiday coverage. Flexibility is required to accommodate department needs and potential schedule changes.

  The candidate must be able to work day and evening shifts as scheduled, with the ability to adapt to department needs and emergent situations. The role involves variable scheduling, including holiday and call coverage, as needed.
