Job Details

• Position Description: Respiratory Therapist provides intensive respiratory care, patient transport, evaluation for treatment plans, patient education, and operation of ventilatory and oxygen devices. Performs chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography monitoring, and reviews chest x-rays. Conducts pulmonary function studies, assists with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, and manages tracheostomy care including insertion/removal. Performs arterial punctures, monitors ventilation efficiency, and maintains detailed treatment records. Conducts cardiopulmonary resuscitation per BLS and ACLS guidelines and manages mechanical ventilation equipment. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team and maintains accurate respiratory therapy records.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS, valid respiratory therapist license, minimum of 0 years of experience, and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift minimum of 36 hours per week starting October 12, 2026, through January 11, 2027.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours weekly.
• Additional Information: The role entails performing complex respiratory procedures, equipment maintenance, and patient assessments, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
