Job Summary
MRI Technologist, MRI Location: Not specified. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures independently and accurately according to established protocols. The MRI Technologist will prepare and screen patients for safety, ensuring optimal imaging results for diagnostic purposes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures according to protocols established by radiologists; operates independently without constant supervision; handles both adult and pediatric patients requiring technical judgment to apply appropriate scanning techniques; assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures; screens patients and objects for magnet safety; utilizes equipment including Philips Ingenia 1.5, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector, Omnicell, EPIC, and Fuji PACS.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (MR) certification, BLS (American Heart Association), and a minimum of 5 years of experience in MRI.
• Schedule: Night shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week. Shifts may include working alone, with floating to other units/departments as needed.
• Additional Information: Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with medical or religious exemptions submitted as per protocol. Candidates must hold a valid drivers license outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. Previous candidates who worked at the facility for more than a year or are reapplying must meet the specific time away criteria outlined. Proper documentation including references, resume, skills, and ARRT certification must be submitted with application.
