Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist for a healthcare facility in an acute care setting. This role focuses on assisting radiologists during interventional procedures, coordinating procedures, and managing post-procedure documentation. The position requires advanced technical skills and independent work capability within a team environment.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist), BLS Certification, North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration (NDMIRT), minimum of 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Schedule: 8-hour days; may require finishing cases started late. Call rotation approximately 10 days or less per month, roughly 2 days a week depending on time off schedules.
• Responsibilities include assisting radiologists during procedures, coordinating room activities, scheduling and coding procedures, post-procedure film processing, charting, and billing of cases and supplies.
• Equipment utilized includes Electronic Electronic Medical Record (EPIC), Sectra Pacs, Toshiba Interventional Radiology Machine, Siemens Ultrasound Unit.
• Department operates in two fluoroscopy rooms and two ultrasound rooms, with occasional float to CT and other units to assist with procedures.
• The position requires completion of training and orientation on department protocols and equipment.
• Must badge in and out at the facility, wear supplied hospital scrubs, and adhere to the units dress code.
• The role involves working independently for smaller cases and collaboratively in pairs for larger angiography cases, with some floating to other departments as needed.
