Description
Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking an Interventional Procedural Technologist in the Interventional Radiology (IR) specialty. This role involves supporting minimally invasive, image-guided procedures within a dynamic and multidisciplinary IR division. The Technologist will operate imaging equipment, perform sterile scrub and case circulation duties in both radiology and operating room settings, and assist with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, and biopsies.
Job Details
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Candidates must be a graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved program in Radiologic Technology, hold ARRT certification, possess a valid Massachusetts State Radiography License, and BLS certification.
- Experience Requirements: 0 years of relevant experience.
- Position Responsibilities: Support minimally invasive procedures including angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Start Date: 11/01/2026
- End Date: 01/30/2027
- Additional Information: Support clinical areas including IR, CT-guided procedures, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Hybrid procedures, Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Endoscopic interventions. Must support diagnostic and interventional procedures as outlined.
