Job Summary
Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasonography) in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures, including transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echos, to assist cardiologists in accurate diagnosis and procedural guidance. The position requires collaboration with the medical team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree, Location, and Experience: High School diploma or GED; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); BLS; 6 months of related experience; ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills; ability to communicate effectively with healthcare teams; availability for on-call rotations after regular hours.
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Demonstrates proper technique in advanced cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, reviews patient data, operates diagnostic equipment, reports abnormal findings, and maintains accurate documentation. Supports departmental quality assurance, maintains competency in specialty practices, and adheres to infection control and safety protocols.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
