Job Details

• Required Qualifications: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience); valid BCLS certification; ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire; RCIS, RCES, or ARRT with Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI) certification; 0 years of experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidate must specify interest in either day or night shifts.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have cath lab experience, experience with ECMO and structural heart procedures, and familiarity with Epic charting and Seiman Census. Tasks include monitoring diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures, identifying coronary anatomy, interpreting cardiac waveforms, assisting with percutaneous interventions, and performing cardiac outputs, oxygen saturations, and activated clotting time measurements. Candidates should be capable of managing equipment related to fluoroscopy, intravascular ultrasound, Doppler velocimetry, and handling emergency procedures such as performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intervening during arrhythmias. The role involves physical demands such as sterile scrubbing and lifting patients with team assistance.
