Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location not specified. Job Details

• Schedule: Days and nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification is required; ACLS and NRP certifications preferred. Education modules include specific neonatal and pediatric respiratory care certifications.
• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in tertiary, teaching hospital settings with level 1 trauma experience preferred; acute care pediatrics and emergency department experience required.
• Additional Qualifications: Float rotation may be required, including NICU/PICU, adult acute, and critical care.
• Responsibilities: Providing respiratory therapy to varied patient populations, working within a team, and participating in call rotation.
• Certifications Needed: BLS required, ACLS preferred, NRP required for NICU.
• Work Environment: The role covers the entire facility with varied bed counts and patient ratios, using equipment such as Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton lines, and Ventolin devices.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available to start on 10/19/2026, with the assignment ending on 02/08/2027, and should be prepared to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs.
