Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, Gilbert or Chandler. This position involves providing specialized speech and language therapy to adult patients recovering from neurological injuries, brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopedic conditions, wound care, respiratory issues, or requiring intravenous antibiotics. The role focuses on delivering tailored rehabilitative care to improve functional communication and swallowing skills within a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Certification: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; Education: Degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or equivalent; Location: Gilbert or Chandler, AZ; Experience: 0 years minimum.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Provides inpatient speech therapy services to adult patients across various neurological and orthopedic conditions. Utilizes specialized equipment and multidisciplinary team collaboration to support patient recovery. Candidates should be adept in time management and point-of-care documentation.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
