Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist (Xray Technologist) Location: Not specified. This position involves operating radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body. The candidate will work across various clinical settings, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Job Details

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology (ARRT-R).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Operates radiology equipment and adjusts settings for proper exposure according to procedure requirements.
• Prepares and positions patients for radiologic examinations, providing verbal and written instructions to ensure cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Ensures infection control policies are followed, including proper use of protective devices and patient shielding.
• Assists with monitoring patients under moderate sedation, ensuring informed consent has been obtained.
• Supports department and hospital goals through continuous personal development and participation in mandatory in-service training.
• Works collaboratively with healthcare professionals and staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintains and stocks examination rooms with necessary supplies.
