Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (RTT) Location: Not Specified. This role involves developing radiation treatment plans for cancer patients, working closely with radiation oncologists, therapists, and physicists. The position requires providing patient care during external beam, internal, proton therapy, and other advanced radiation treatments within an acute care setting.
Job Details
- Required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association or ARC), Certified Radiation Therapist ARRT (T) Certificate; Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have prior experience as a Dosimetrist and be comfortable with first-time travel assignments. The role involves working with advanced radiation treatment technologies including TrueBeam Accelerator, Aria/Eclipse, Siemens CT SIM, and AlignRT. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans based on radiation oncologist prescriptions, coordinating plan quality assurance, and verification. Department orientation will be provided.
