Job Details
- Position Description: Provides physical therapy services, including assessments, interventions, and case management, in a home health environment. Must have Homecare Home Base (HCHB) experience and Home Health OSHAIS certification, along with a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California and a valid drivers license with proof of automobile insurance.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); valid Physical Therapist license in California; a current drivers license and proof of automobile insurance; a minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience, including community/home health settings.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position involves traveling to and providing care in patients homes, including assisted living, senior apartments, and care homes. It requires flexibility to cover various territories, supervise up to two Physical Therapist Assistants or COTAs, and work in sometimes cramped or cluttered environments. The role includes a comprehensive three-week orientation with online and in-field training, and the expectation of solo work by the end of the orientation period. Weekend work once a month and holiday shifts are required, with some flexibility on time off. Scrubs are recommended; dress code is business professional.
