Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) The organization is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist for a Pediatric specialty position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing assessment, therapeutic interventions, and patient education for individuals with cardiopulmonary disorders. Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current NBRC certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT); North Dakota license (NDSBRC); BLS (AHA); minimum of 2 years recent respiratory therapy experience in trauma and ICU settings; respiratory experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, every other weekend, holidays, with 8- and 12-hour shifts, primarily 12-hour shifts. Weekend or straight night shifts may be considered.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a high-volume, trauma level 1 facility with diverse pediatric and adult patient populations. Responsibilities include ventilator and NIV therapy management, arterial blood gases, airway management, and assisting with procedures such as intubations and bronchoscopy. The team collaborates closely with other healthcare professionals and follows hospital protocols for emergency and bedside procedures. Orientation includes lab training and preceptor shifts.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must badge in and out at the facility and note prior employment with Sanford Health if applicable, with end dates at least 6 months prior to submission.
