Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) in an acute care setting. This position involves planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs to assist patients in recovering mobility, relieving pain, increasing strength, and preventing deformities. The role requires documenting patient information, educating patients and their families, and analyzing therapeutic progress to recommend necessary adjustments.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Responsible for developing and implementing physical therapy treatment plans that support patient recovery and mobility improvement. Must document evaluations, educate patients and families about treatment and exercises, and comply with departmental and regulatory standards.
• Required Qualifications:
  Appropriate education level in accordance with state licensure. Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist. Valid Drivers License may be required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within the first 60 days of employment. Obtains and maintains department-specific competencies and certifications.
• Schedule:
  Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Must badge in and out at the facility. Previous experience with the organization is not required. The role involves working in an acute care division with potential holiday shifts; weekends are not required.
