Job Summary
Polysomnographer located at the healthcare provider's Sleep Center. This position involves performing sleep studies and administering treatments to patients with sleep disorders, utilizing equipment such as Natus Xltek sleep testing devices and Resmed Pap machines. The role requires working overnight shifts to support patient care and diagnostic procedures.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Minimum of two years of related work experience in Sleep Disorders field; ND Respiratory Care License; Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification; BLS Certification; must have peds experience; work schedule includes 3 nights per week, 12-hour overnight shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience with Sanford Health or similar healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities: Perform sleep testing procedures, administer treatments, and operate sleep testing equipment including Natus Xltek sleep testing devices and Resmed Pap machines. Conduct work flows, learn hospital policies, procedures, and equipment processes during orientation week. Complete departmental orientation and learn the hospital layout, policies, and testing protocols.
Certifications: BLS Certification, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT Certificate.
Schedule: 3 Nights a week, overnight shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Orientation includes working with day sleep technologists, learning the hospital's electronic health record (EPIC) system, work flows, policies, testing procedures, and departmental layout. The position involves working with 2 sleep beds and a tech-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with a dress code requiring grey scrubs.
