Radiation Therapist in Joplin, Missouri This position involves providing advanced radiation therapy treatments and supporting treatment planning for a busy oncology unit. The role requires operating specialized equipment and collaborating with the radiation oncology team to deliver safe, accurate patient care.

Job Details

Position: Radiation Therapist
Specialty: Radiation Therapy
Location: Joplin, Missouri
Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (T) Radiation Therapist or higher
Education/Experience: Certification, relevant education, and 1-2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
Responsibilities include delivering prescribed radiation treatments such as 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT, performing CT simulations to support treatment planning, operating Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator and Mosaiq R & V system, and ensuring patient safety and compassionate care.
Must have experience with CT simulations, proficiency with the specified equipment and systems, and knowledge of advanced radiation delivery techniques.
