Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location: Not specified. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patients across various units, including Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Emergency Room. The role demands proficiency in ventilation management, airway clearance, and advanced respiratory therapies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and adherence to clinical guidelines.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Driver's License/State ID, UHS Submission Packet, UHS Prior Employment Form, and UHS Skills Checklist. No minimum years of experience required; 0.0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Proficiency in aerosol therapy, airway management, mechanical ventilation, blood gas analysis, and neonatal resuscitation protocols. Interface with multidisciplinary teams in various pediatric and neonatal units, including emergency care and high-risk deliveries.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit the UHS Submission Packet, Prior Employment Form, and Skills Checklist upon application.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
