Job Summary
Ultrasonographer Echo in a healthcare facility responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures, including adult and pediatric studies such as transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and stress echo. The role involves providing immediate feedback on critical results and assisting physicians in complex procedures to support life-saving interventions.

Job Details

• Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); BLS certification; 6 months of related experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work independently with critical thinking skills and to communicate effectively with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare staff.
• Capable of serving in an on-call rotation after regular hours.
• Demonstrates competence in operating ultrasound equipment, reviewing pertinent patient data, documenting procedures accurately, and maintaining departmental compliance.
• Supports departmental quality assurance initiatives, safety practices, and infection control standards.
• Collaborates effectively with healthcare teams and maintains all required certifications and training.
