Job Summary

Interventional Radiology CL, Iowa. The position supports vascular procedures in a hospital or medical center setting and performs scrub, circulating, and monitoring duties. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation and welcomes first-time travelers.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with call coverage every third evening and every third weekend.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting
  • Current experience in interventional vascular or interventional radiology laboratory procedures
  • Cardiac catheterization laboratory experience in a hospital or medical center setting
  • Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring procedures
  • Current or prior experience supporting operating room procedures
  • Peripheral vascular experience
  • Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography
  • Iowa radiology license
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level I trauma experience
  • Advanced cardiovascular or vascular-interventional certification
  • Advanced certification in cardiac interventional or vascular-interventional imaging
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • Iowa radiology license obtained before assignment start
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring vascular procedures.
  • The unit handles approximately 25 cases per day.
  • Patient care focuses on vascular procedures.
  • Call coverage supports both assigned facilities, with the majority of emergencies occurring at a Level I trauma location.
  • Unless the unit is closed, the assignment requires work during one to two of the three upcoming winter holidays.
  • First-time travelers are welcome.
  • Orientation dates are 11/30/2026, 12/07/2026, 12/14/2026, 12/21/2026, and 12/28/2026.
  • The assignment is scheduled from 11/30/2026 through 03/01/2027.
