Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Boise, ID. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care within the inpatient pediatric and adult floors of the healthcare facility. The position supports respiratory treatments, equipment management, and transport for a diverse adult and pediatric patient population, ensuring comprehensive respiratory therapy services.

Job Details

Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Education Requirements: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Respiratory Therapist; Location Requirements: Boise, ID; Years of Experience: 0.0.
Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include managing respiratory equipment, treatments, transport, and arterial blood gases (ABGs). No EKGs will be performed.
Qualifications: Must have at least 2-3 years of experience if RRT, 3-5 years if CRT; must be okay with first-time travelers; NICU experience with knowledge of NAVA on Cervo vents is preferred.
Additional Information: RTs will assist with intubations, manage Ventilation devices including Draeger for adults and Servo U for pediatrics, and cover adult, pediatric, and NICU floors as needed. Floating to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center may be required. The facility maintains a radius rule of 50 miles, with candidates' permanent addresses verified before submission.
Must complete 2-3 shifts of unit-specific orientation, including shifts in adult, pediatric, and NICU units if covering those areas.
