Job Summary
Vascular Sonographer in Bangor, Maine This outpatient imaging center is seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer for a temporary assignment. The role involves performing vascular imaging procedures in a Level II Trauma Center environment, supporting adult patients, and working a rotating shift schedule.
Job Details
- Position: Vascular Sonographer
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS, ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) either AB (Abdominal) or OB (Obstetrics) required, both preferred; at least 2 years of related experience; license valid for Maine; experience in adult patient care; valid certification and licensure necessary for employment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience is a plus.
- Support on the Unit: Lead tech and physician support available.
- Technology/Equipment: Use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Cerner).
- Orientation: Provided during interview.
- Scheduling: Specifics discussed during interview.
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.
- Call Rotation: Required, details discussed during interview.
- RTO: Manager approval needed for time off.
- Additional Information: Candidates may float between main campus and outpatient imaging center. Scrub color must be a solid, professional color or as provided by the facility. Parking is free.
