Job Summary
X-Ray Technologist Xray Technologist Location unspecified. This role involves operating radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images. Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT Certification, Graduate of a JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology, New York State License (L.R.T), 2 years of experience, and availability to start on 10/26/2026.
• Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 7.5 hours per shift, 37.5 hours per week.
• Responsible for preparing patients for radiological procedures and positioning them accordingly.
• Minimize radiation exposure through protective techniques and safety protocols.
• Maintain production quality by following established standards, processing radiographs, and adjusting procedures as necessary.
• Document patient care services accurately in patient and department records.
• Ensure the operation of radiology equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventories.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and comply with infection control policies.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
• Complete yearly Age Specific Competency and other relevant duties as assigned.
• Required Skills include ARRT certification, proficiency with X-ray procedures, and effective communication skills.
• The candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience as an X-ray Technologist.
