Job Details

• Complete a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards discharge within an established length of stay.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to tailor treatment goals and ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval, as indicated and necessary for clinical care.
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry using approved formats in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision, learning objectives, and evaluations.
• Create an individualized professional development plan with clinical management and actively pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and other regulatory agency guidelines, maintaining licensure in good standing and completing all mandated continuing education.
• Understand and contribute to the organizations performance improvement initiatives by offering feedback and supporting quality enhancement efforts.
• Follow all clinic guidelines outlining standards of personal appearance, attendance, punctuality, and safety to promote a safe environment.
• Complete all documentation and clinical duties in accordance with organizational policies.
